A three part dance fitness class that combines dance cardio, technique, and choreography. This energetic class targets new muscles and gets you sweating in a fun way! It’s a fun hybrid between a strictly fitness-oriented class and a true dance class. The best of both worlds! You’ll begin with a classic dance warm up with muscle isolations and stretches, followed by across the floor movement. Then move into cardio using a ‘follow the instructor’ format of nonstop dancing. Get ready to groove and get your heart rate up! Finally, fun & challenging choreography will be broken down and put to music in a way that everyone can learn and feel confident. You’ll want to show off your new moves!
This is a classically structured ballet class including ballet barre and center work. You will be guided through combinations and proper technique to tone, stretch, and strengthen your body. No previous experience is necessary. Come prepared to have fun and DANCE!
In these Intro to Dance classes, children will develop their coordination, musicality and expressiveness in a nurturing environment. They will learn basic dance movements as well as be introduced to ballet steps and vocabulary.
